What happens when you pair two brand founders that hate food waste but love food?
Introducing our collaboration with vegan, female-founded foodie company Miam Jars. This Autumn we had food waste issue a little closer to home and we knew we could collaborate to solve the problem.
Every year our founder's parent's garden produces hundreds and hundreds of Bramley apples...
They eat as many as possible and give them to neighbours, but they're still left with tree loads that go to waste. This apple season, we went on a mission to recuse them and produce an extra tasty, sweet treat as a little nod to both our brands.
We rescued over 80 Bramley apples (30kg) to produce 60 jars of our limited edition rescued apple compote.
Handpicked (by our founder's parents) from Hereford Bramley apple trees before making thier way to London where we whipped them up into a delicious sweet treat so good you can eat it by the spoonfull.

Made with simple ingredients including unrefined coconut sugar, a touch of cinnamon and a splash of orange, this sweet yet tangy compote is perfect dolloped on pancakes, topped on granola, delicious stirred into yoghurt or mixed into your favourite cake batter.
